Structural Engineer Project Manager

Full-Time Position in Bozeman, MT or New Kensington, PA

Summary of Position: AE Dynamics is looking for enthusiastic, licensed structural engineers to take a leadership role in our growing organization.  As a Project Manager, you will manage and oversee the day-to-day effort for structural engineering projects, coordinate directly with clients and company leadership, mentor junior engineering staff, and help to ensure the highest possible level of quality throughout the firm.  Responsibilities will include:

Project / Team Management:

   Manage engineering design and document production

   Manage projects budgets and scope

   Establish, coordinate, and maintain schedules

   Create and document processes as they evolve

   Provide QAQC of projects

   Stamp projects under your management

   Provide feedback to contribute to performance reviews

Engineering Duties:

   Perform, document, and coordinate structural analysis of both primary structures and building façade systems

   Produce project documents (drawings, specifications, and calculation packages)

   Perform construction administration (submittal review, RFI responses, site visits, general contractor assistance)

   Perform structural special inspection services (visual inspections)

Client Management:

   Communicate continuously with clients to actively manage projects

   Manage client relationships to better understand both current and future needs

   Seek opportunities to increase client satisfaction and further relationships

   Build and maintain a knowledge base of each client’s business, organization, preferences, and goals

Business Development:

   Establish relationships and develop new clients

   Aid in the procurement of additional work

   Obtain additional state licenses / certifications as needed to serve your projects

   Bring forth ideas to enhance company growth into new and innovative markets
