Warner Theatre

Erie, Pennsylvania

Project Description

The Warner Theatre has been a cultural center for the performing arts in Erie since it’s opening in 1931. Throughout it’s 90+ year history, the historic theatre has been updated and renovated many times, with the building even being listed on the National Register in 1982. The most recent renovation began in 2020, with an estimated cost of over $27 million. The scope of work included many upgrades to the stage, sound system, and ventilation, as well as the addition of an enclosed exterior walkway that connects the mezzanine foyer to the rehearsal hall. AE Dynamics provided specialty structural engineering analysis of the glass being installed on the exterior walkway.
