VersaTier is our innovative way of providing shop drawings and engineering for specialty construction trades. VersaTier allows us to better leverage our built-in efficiencies to deliver high quality drawing, engineering, and service no matter how simple or complex the project.
VersaTier was developed because we understand that not every project requires the same level of complexity. While complex projects demand detailed precision, simpler projects thrive on straightforward solutions. That’s why we’ve created a versatile framework with three distinct service tiers tailored to meet your projects’ unique needs, from the simple to the sophisticated. We believe that every project is unique and deserves personalized attention, but for smaller projects, we recognize common, core, essential needs. By leveraging common approaches within each service tier, we deliver cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
VersaTier Comparison Summary
There is a Service Tier For Your Project!
VT Essential

Basic drawings that are perfect for basic product approval and ordering material. All of the essential product information is included, as well as fully dimensioned frames and product component details. Coordination with other trades is minimized to keep fees low.
VT Advanced

The most common offering, these drawings provide the right level of detail for the majority of projects. More coordination with surround construction is provided, and the level of detail is higher than VT Essential. Many Clients will build and fabricate from these drawings.
VT Advanced SE

All the same drawing features as VT Advanced, but with the addition of structural engineering. Drawings are fully coordinated with AE Dynamics’ internal engineering, and a calculation package is provided. Some engineering items are optional to keep fees in check.
VT Dynamic

Ideal for BIM, Design-Assist, Delegated Design, and other larger, complex projects. VT Dynamic projects are almost always engineered, and drawing customization options are virtually unlimited. Project management is more of a focus to ensure design compliance.
